Chairman Li Attends the "Wu Zhi Xing 2013" Charity Walk with His Employees

On October 17, 2013, the International Students Day, Chairman Li and more than 30 employees as well their family members from both Hong Kong and Shenzhen joined the "Wu Zhi Xing 2013" Charity Walk and the 3rd inter-university charity walk in Hong Kong organized by Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation. 

Chief Secretary for Administration and honorary consultant of Wu Zhi Qiao Ms. Lin Zheng Yue'e acted as the officiating guest of the starting ceremony, and unveiled the plaque with Chairman Li Weibo and principals and representatives from 13 Hong Kong universities including Hong Kong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. After the event is launched, thousands of people including Chairman Li, principals, teachers and students from 13 Hong Kong universities, people from business circles and Hong Kong citizens followed the example of a Chinese inspirational story "Tao Kan carrying the bricks" and brought along a piece of brick from Tsuen Wan Park to Bellagio in Sham Tseng (About 7 km). 

The theme of this "Wu Zhi Xing 2013" is "committed to building bridges and helping others by bringing bricks along". The event aims to unite the efforts and caring hearts to support bridge building in rural areas of Chinese mainland. Realize dreams through perseverance and pass the spirit of Wu Zhi Qiao. 

It is reported that this event raises a total of about HKD 1.2 million, 0.3 million of which is donated by Chairman Li in the Group name, which makes him a diamond sponsor of the event.
