On August 29th, Association for New Rural Construction was established for Shanliao Village, Po'xin Town, Maogang District, Maoming City. Chairman of Glory Harvest Group Li Weibo was elected founding president of the Association. 

Shanliao Village is the hometown of Chairman Li Weibo, and Li has always been an enthusiastic participant of the various development projects there, especially those involving social welfare initiatives that allow him to give back to the beloved and down-to-earth land where he grew up. During his participation in the years of hometown development projects,

President Li has come to deeply comprehend how limited his own abilities are, and that if one wishes to quickly change an underdeveloped area, it is necessary to bring together the wisdom and power of all village residents. A multitude of sparks can form a fire that will grow ever brighter. Relying on the policies introduced by the Party and the government in favor of new rural construction, Li has come up with his idea of establishing the Shanliao Village Association for New Rural Construction. 

It is understood that Shanliao village Association for New Rural Construction will adhere to the purpose of establishing a Shanliao version of "Huaxi Village", tightly revolve around the central goal of new rural construction, unit with and rely on mass villagers and enthusiastic participants from all social circles, strive to serve as a tie that links the government, enterprise and farmers, and actively render services in laws, policies, technology and capital for villagers. Development in next phase will be based on the actual condition of Shanliao Village, fully utilize the advantages in location and resources, strive to develop profitable agriculture, intensify efforts to promote the fine breed and good method, gradually promote standardized and industrialized production, make constant progress in the quality of farm produce, expand the agricultural cultural product base with distinctive characteristics, and lead the village to rapid prosperity.
