On the afternoon of October 23, Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Prime Minister of France and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces, met with Li Weibo, Chairman of Glory Harvest Group and Liu Zheng, COO of Glory Harvest Group and general manager of Shenzhen Glory Harvest Real Estate Co., Ltd. in Chengdu. During the meeting, the two sides held talks over the Sino-French Boutique Industrial Park project in a friendly and candid manner and had in-depth exchange of views on matters including how to better drive the project. They reached an initial consensus about the project and nailed down Mr. Raffarin's upcoming visit to Glory Harvest Group.
Mr. Raffarin showed his admiration for Glory Harvest Group led by Li Weibo and spoke highly of the contribution made by Li and his Charitable Foundation in the field of charity following the introduction of the Group and its business.
Upon hearing the report on the specific planning and future vision of the Sino-French Boutique Industrial Park project, Mr. Raffarin said that this project holds great potential as it is quite original and excellent in operation flexibility and elasticity. Also, he showed his great willingness to promote in person the project implementation and offered candid suggestions on the spot. He said, first, as a joint effort of Glory Harvest Group and TTF Group and a marriage between a real estate tycoon and a top luxury brand, this project holds its key to success in drawing on benefits from each other; second, Shenzhen enjoys an exceptional advantage in geological location, which serves as the biggest strength of the project; and third, he is willing to lobby in person influential people from the political field, fashion world and diverse corners of French society to contribute to the project construction.
Glory Harvest Group is currently vigorously engaged in urban renewal, and plans to build Xinxiu district into an upscale boutique industrial park that attracts and gathers excellent local fashion companies in Shenzhen and China. Chairman Li's meeting with Mr. Raffarin will for sure herald further progress of this project.
