Explanation Meeting on site
On the afternoon of April 26, 2014, Glory Harvest Real Estate held the Explanation Meeting with Proprietors on Contract Terms of the Meilin Urban Renewal Project at the Meilin Sub-district Office. Special explanation was made to proprietor's wide-concerned issues such as demolition compensation method and project planning during the meeting, and the planned house types were also showcased in the meeting. A total of more than one hundred persons including leaders of Futian District URA and Meilin Sub-district Office, Mr. Jing Xinjian, General Manager of Kanghesheng Industry Co., Ltd., leaders of Glory Harvest Real Estate, and propriety representatives of Dongmei Sub-district, Meilin attended the Explanation Meeting.
During the explanation meeting, Mr. Liu Zheng, General Manager of Glory Harvest Real Estate, said that as the largest proprietor of Meilin and the developer of the Meilin Urban Renewal Project, Glory Harvest Real Estate would implement the Project with high standards and focus on the quality of the urban renewal work of Meilin District to increase the value of its own properties and those of the other proprietors. After that, the Project responsible person Hu Yiming made a detailed explanation to the Project's current status, future planning and contract terms, and gave answers to proprietors' questions.
Leaders of Futian District URA and Meilin Sub-district Office made important speeches and pointed that the renewal of Dongmei Sub-district of Meilin was very necessary since the supporting facilities of the buildings in this sub-district were old and not sufficient. The leaders expressed that the government would give support to the Project and give all-round regulations on the urban renewal work of the Dongmei Sub-district of Meilin to protect the interests of the masses to a full extent, which reassured the proprietors.
Mr. Jing Xinjian, General Manager of Kanghesheng Industry Co., Ltd., also shared his opinions. Mr. Jing is the second largest propriety in Dongmei Sub-district who signed the Moving and Resettlement Compensation Agreement with Glory Harvest Real Estate in December, 2013. He analyzed the necessity and importance of urban renewal of sub-districts for Glory Harvest Real Estate from the points of development and current situation. Mr. Jing expressed that he expected the urban renewal work of the Dongmei Sub-district of Meilin, which was a good opportunity for the development of this sub-district. He further said that he was confident of Glory Harvest Group's strength and reached agreements with the Group. He wished that all members work hand in hand and realize the signing of demolition agreements.
At the beginning of 2014, 50% of the total families in Meilin signed agreements on the Meilin Urban Renewal Project, reaching a renewal area of more than 65% of the total area of Meilin Sub-district. The Explanation Meeting helped promote communications between Glory Harvest Real Estate and the proprietors and reassure the proprietors, which played an important part in realizing the signing of agreements on this project.
