On August 8th, chairman Weibo Li received a thank-you letter from the parents of a leukemia patient which extends their sincerest gratitude to him for his donation of 135,000 yuan which saved their daughter Tiantian Zhang.

Chairman Li recently attended a charity birthday party hosted by philanthropist Ms. Lingling Cai to help the leukemia patient Tiantian. Chairman Li donated 135,000 yuan to support Tiantian’s treatment. "Your kindness gives us the courage and confidence to fight against the disease", wrote the parents of Tiantian in the thank-you letter.

Tiantian was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia in 2006, and had once recovered after a long-term chemotherapy. After recovery, she was admitted into Ewha Womans University for her outstanding academic performance. This year the disease found this sophomore again. Her doctor suggested bone marrow transplant would be the only way to save her life. However, the previous treatment had exhausted the savings of the entire family and the surgery of bone marrow transplant alone could cost hundreds of thousands of yuan, not to mention the subsequent rehabilitation therapy which is more costly.

In order to help Zhang Tiantian with the treatment, guests of the charity party all made generous donations. The dinner party raised a total of around 600,000 yuan.
